What does it mean when my Smart Compass shows “Acquiring GPS [Name]”?

When the screen of your Smart Compass displays the message "Acquiring GPS [name]", it means that your device has not yet acquired a GPS fix and therefore does not have a location for itself or to relay to group members. If this occurs, make sure the device is outdoors under the open sky, the fix generally occurs within about 10 minutes.

If this message persists, you can initiate a factory reset to re-initiate GPS fix.
