Is Smart Compass a replacement for an avalanche beacon or other emergency tranceiver?

NO. SMART COMPASS DOES NOT ACT AS A REPLACEMENT OR SUBSTITUTE FOR AN AVALANCHE BEACON.

Smart Compass is not intended to act as a replacement or substitute for an avalanche beacon or to be used as a safety, emergency or rescue device. Smart Compass transmits on 902 to 928 band and will not interfere with avalanche beacons.
